The Nymphaeum of the Tritons at Hierapolis of Phrygia is a monumental fountain of the Roman period with an imposing marble façade. Within the activities of the Italian Archaeological Mission the Nymphaeum is currently being studied by a team from the University of Messina with the goal of understanding its original layout and its history. The starting point of the study is the wealth of data provided by stratigraphic excavation of the building, particularly by the extensive archaeological deposits formed by the blocks of the façade collapsed into the pool of the fountain following an earthquake in the 7th century AD. Il progetto di rilievo, scavo, studio e valorizzazione del teatro romano di Althiburos (El M’deïna, Tunisia) vede coinvolti l’Institut National du Patrimoine, l’Università di Macerata ed il Politecnico di Bari. Nelle tre campagne sinora svolte è stato iniziato il programma di rilievo del monumento e catalogo degli elementi architettonici e sono stati iniziati alcuni saggi stratigrafici che hanno permesso di indagare le fasi più tarde della vita dell’edificio, da quando cioè, in età bizantina, il teatro venne trasformato in fortezza sino all’età moderna. A recent archaeological excavation has been carried out in the so called "Edificio A", in the archaeological site of Villa Bonanno, Piazza della Vittoria in Palermo, by th Dipartimento Culture e Società (University of Palermo) and the Polo Regionale di Palermo peri i Musei ei Parchi Archeologici. "Edificio A" was discovered and excavated by the end of the XIX Century and the rich mosic floors were romeved and transferred at the Nationa Archaeological Museum. The style of these mosaics dated the building at the Severian perido but there are still somaspects of this monumnet that are unclear, such us its function and the existence of previous buildings inthe area. L’Anfiteatro di Sabratha, ignorato dai viaggiatori del XVIII e XIX secolo, venne segnalato nel 1912 da Henri Méhier de Mathuisieulx ed indagato da Renato Bartoccini a partire dal 1924. Gli scavi e le ricerche portate avanti in quegli anni permisero di rimettere in luce gran parte del monumento, che rimase tuttavia non pubblicato. Recenti scavi e ricerche hanno adesso permesso di redigere un nuovo rilievo ed un nuovo studio del monumento. The Universities of Pavia and Oxford continued their investigations in Villa Adriana, in the area called Plutonium, traditionally interpreted as a reproduction of the Underworld, and located on one of the highest rises of the complex, in the east part of the Villa. The excavations took place from 1 to 21 July 2019. A team of 12 graduate students and postdoctoral researchers took part in the project, both from Oxford and Pavia Universities (S. Andronio, I. Nel corso del 2016 e 2017 la missione congiunta delle università di Oxford e Pavia ha condotto una serie di campagne di ricognizione, rilevamento (georadar e geomagnetico) e rilievo architettonico nell'area nota dalla letteratura archeologica come pertinente al Plutonium e Inferi di Villa Adriana.
